10. Delivering a healthy coast

Providing a strategic and coordinated approach to the protection, sustainable use and enjoyment of our dunes, beaches, rocky shores and near-shore marine waters.

To do this the Strategy identifies the need to:

• Develop and implement a healthy coast management plan
• Implement the Shoreline Erosion Management Plan 
• Undertake coastal rehabilitation activities in partnership with the community 
• Promote and celebrate beach culture and coastal values through community engagement and education
• Implement a Healthy Coast Monitoring and Reporting Framework.
