Concert Avenue Park, Palmview

Palmview’s newest park is a hit with residents

Promoting active living.

A new four hectare park which opened in July 2024 is proving to be popular with Palmview locals.

Concert Avenue Park in Harmony’s Serenity neighbourhood stretches a total of 450 metres and includes 1 kilometre of pedestrian and cycle circuits, kick and throw lawns with soccer goals and static gym equipment. The littlies have not been forgotten either, with play equipment including elevated play towers, tunnel mounds, bird nest swings, spinners and a slide.

The park was developed by the master developer and contributed to council for maintenance in line with the infrastructure agreement. Designed to promote an active lifestyle for all, the park is a popular spot for fitness classes including yoga, pilates and boot camp.

This is the second park of this type provided for the Palmview community, and the fourth local park to open. This latest park is yet another positive outcome from council’s Environment and Liveability Strategy, reinforcing Council’s commitment to foster accessible and affordable spaces for the community’s benefit.

The strategic planning of parks and other open spaces is a key part of the Strategy’s goal of encouraging connection and healthy living habits within our communities, which in turn builds a better future for everyone.
