New Eumundi pathway to benefit all

Upgraded Lonergan Lane adds to liveability.

The completed upgrade of a well-used path in the heart of Eumundi is expected to improve access to parks and the nearby markets, supporting the health and well-being of locals and encouraging further support for home-grown businesses.

On non-market days, children and their parents can utilise this safe laneway to access the popular Dick Caplick Park playground.

The $10,000 path upgrade at Lonergan Lane includes a new coloured concrete pathway plus minor landscaping works that everyone in the community could now enjoy.

As supported by council's Environment and Liveability Strategy, this upgrade helps connect our neighbourhoods and people, inspire nearby residents to make use of local pathways and reduce reliance on personal car transport. Together, this contributes to achieving council's vision - Australia's most sustainable region, healthy, smart, creative.
