Buderim pump track open for business
Socialise, get active, enjoy the outdoors.
The Sunshine Coast’s newest pump track opened in June 2025.
The track at Forestwood Drive Park, Buderim promises to be an exciting recreational asset for the young, and young at heart.
Guided by Council’s Environment and Liveability Strategy, the creation of the pump track continues the commitment to provide diverse and engaging recreational opportunities for residents and visitors, encourage physical activity and foster a sense of community.
The design focuses on beginner and intermediate local riders and is already popular with young families and kids of all ages.
In 2023, the Buderim community indicated they would like to see more informal sport opportunities for teenagers and young adults in the area. In line with Council strategy, Council then assessed the existing informal sport opportunities in the area and identified Buderim as an ideal location for a pump track.
Final amendments included additional buffer planting and barriers, more seating for park users to sit and watch the action, as well as additional shade trees.
