Kids in Action Program

Bringing schools together to explore environmental issues.

Kids in Action grows a culture that values caring for the natural world.

It brings together hundreds of students and teachers from across the region to share experiences and learnings with a common goal to help save the coast's spectacular environment. The conference is part of National Kids Teaching Kids Week, where students become the teachers sharing the environmental projects they have been working on across the Kids Teaching Kids community.

Since the program’s inception in 2012, schools have investigated and implemented projects addressing a range of environmental issues such as waterway health, climate change, waste, protecting native species and sustainability.
